(His life is well lived who makes a positive impact on many lives. Even a crow can use its beak to fill its own stomach).

Talking about our Guest Ms Naaz journey of life, she is born in Mumbai, Parents separated while she was too young and brought up in Haryana by a single mother. Most of the childhood spent in Haryana. Being a single parent, her mother was quite protective about her. She did not let her go to school once she heard that two girls had been abducted from her school. Thus, she began to help her mother in her household chores and her small business of waste management. It was at this very tender age that she was exposed to entrepreneurship. This experience came handy when she ran her own fashion boutique later.

She was barely 15 when she returned to Mumbai in search of her Parsi father. To survive, she had to do many odd jobs including that of a police informer. In lieu of food and shelter, she had to do household chores in the landlady’s house till she got some decent standing in the Maximum City. Later on she worked as a part-time, fashion designer for export quality lady garments.

Despite her troubled childhood and life full of challenges she is full of positivity and is determined to bring about positive changes in the lives of the most vulnerable section of society. A committed social worker with over a decade of experience in social services, the Founder & Director of Avesta Foundation which is committed to providing shelter, food, medical care, personal care & attention to the deserted senior citizens and to rescue & rehabilitate a marginalized section of the society particularly women and children. She is on a mission to ensure that the seniors especially those deserted by their loved ones in their twilight years relive with restored dignity and comfort. Her motto is to "Give back her Learning to Society, as Sharing is Caring " and for her, she believes that till the breath is Learning will continue and will be shared to build Humankind.

She has adopted 15 elderly people mostly from the roadside and feeds several lonely senior citizens on a daily basis. She has also rescued several people from the crisis situations. Even during the lockdown period when the entire country chose to remain indoor, she stepped out with her team to ensure the doorstep delivery of the essential items particularly milk and medicines to the old people in addition to providing cooked food to the migrant workers and free monthly ration to the underprivileged families. Recently, she was unfairly subjected to online trolling across social media platforms as her complaints led to modification in the brand logo of Myntra. She was called by names and branded as an “activist against the corporates”. This incident remained viral for several weeks across the news portals and tabloids. Her name along with the Myntra logo was the topmost searched item on Google.

Also Avesta Foundation has nominated Ms. Naaz Patel for Padma Shri Award 2022.

Towards the end Dr. Supriya Kumaravelan Advisory Member of Positive Thoughts gave the vote of thanks by mentioning that she's so grateful to this Inspiring lady who gave her precious time for Arabica Coffee Blooms and shared her experiences of her life & commitment towards her goal and motto. It was fascinating to listen about different aspects of her life. She was overwhelmed by the moderator, Ms Upali Aparajita who has taken today’s show to another level. At last Guest and moderator both were virtually facilitated by certification.
