  • A loss to learn, and a few positives

India started the world cup with a bang by winning against Pakistan by a huge margin of 107 runs. However, they preceded the match by losing it against the hosts and the favourites for this tournament Kiwis by a margin of 62 runs. Kiwis dominated the encounter in all three departments, however, there were a few positives from the game for India. Maybe a few right decisions and this match would've been in India's favour. Winning the toss, the experienced skipper Mithali chose to bowl. With one right change in the form of Yastika Bhatia replacing Shafali, India went on the field. India was able to dismiss the dangerous Suzie Bates for a low score, courtesy of a great direct hit from the previous Player of the Match, Pooja Vastrakar. But then the experienced duo of Kerr and Devine took on the Indian attack. Sattherwaite, Green and Martin ensured the same continues even further. At a time when it looked that Kiwis will reach to 300 run mark, India bounced back and bowled good in death overs. The star for India's bowling was the player who starred with the bat in the last match, Pooja Vastrakar. She scalped 4 wickets and was the only bowler to bowl with an economy lesser than 4. Jhulan and Gayakwad scalped 1 and 2 wickets respectively. Deepthi, Meghna and Rana turned out to be a little expensive. But the overall effort in death from Indian bowlers restricted the Kiwis to 260. In reply, the Indian top-order was not able to perform. The inclusion of Yastika was a right move considering the short ball bowled by Kiwis, but she found it hard to go due to the quick wickets of Smriti and Deepthi. At a point where she looked to have an eye on the ball, she had a soft dismissal. The skipper tried to hold one end for some time but was dismissed too. Both of them did score some runs, but their strike rate was worrisome. When India plays against strong teams, the strike rate is a very crucial factor that can turn the game. The positive for India was Harmanpreet Kaur returning to form. She was the only batter who was trying to up the run rate and lower the required rate. Seeing her hit those 2 long sixes, Indian sighed relief seeing their strongest batter clearing the boundaries, something which she is known for. If she continues the form in upcoming matches, she will be a treat to watch for Indians and a threat to opposition in the upcoming matches. At this point, India has one victory and one loss. But today's loss will make sure India remains grounded and will also ensure India is aware of where it can go wrong. If every Indian batter maintains a good strike rate, India will either be able to chase targets or can set a good defendable score for our bowlers. With Harman back in form, India would hope their middle-order fires again, giving much-needed support for the top order. Let's hope it happens and India manage to win a majority of further games Authored By:- Ashwin Jangam ( Cricket Analyst, Host and Entertainer) Instagram ID: https://www.instagram.com/cricket_creativity/

  • Retirement of S Sreesanth: Abrupt end to a good career

If one has to recall the most aggressive Indian bowler in the 21St century, the first name that comes to mind is Sreesanth. His aggression was his trademark. His run-up, action and his delivery stride displayed the confidence and aggression he had. He never feared to display his emotions in front of the greatest of the batters. This is why, seeing an aggressive bowler like him announcing his decision of retirement silently did surprise the cricket lovers, even when they knew this was about to come sooner or later. With a heavy heart, he called off his career in the field which gave him everything and took away everything from him. The retirement of every cricketer is not a great sight for the fans of the gentlemen's game, but Sreesanth's retirement did make the fans emotional too in some way or the other. Every fan has memories related to a cricketer, and similar is the case with Sreesanth. With his retirement, the memories associated with him flashback quickly and make one person wonder, why did such a talented player could play only half of the years after he made his debut till his retirement ...? The only bowler from Kerala after Tinu Yohanan, Sreesanth made his name in the domestic circuit by claiming a hat-trick against Himachal Pradesh in 2002. When he made his international debut in 2005, he made sure his name is known to the world. He claimed 2 wickets on his ODI debut, and 4 wickets on his Test debut. He bowled great outswingers, and his ability to reverse the ball in the late overs proved to be of some help to India at times. This made him a great option in the longer format of the game, as well as in Odi. His ability to swing the new ball proved to be of great help in initial overs in T20 too. He made his T20 debut in the only T20 India played before the 2007 T20 world cup. In the inaugural edition of the T20 world cup, Sreesanth proved to be a vital cog in India's emergence as the first title winner. He dismissed the in-form Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden in semi-final, which turned the game in India's favour and ended Australia's domination in ICC events. And who can forget the last catch taken by Sreesanth which sealed the World Cup final against arch-rivals Pakistan, making India enter in history books? But more than his final catch, his aggressive celebration on the pitch after taking Hayden's wicket was loved by many, was also hated by many, but it demonstrated the immense confidence he had. In the 2011 World cup too, Sreesanth had a major role to play in India's world cup victory after 28 years. Interestingly, he is the only Indian fast bowler, who was a part of both, 2007 T20 world cup victory, as well as 2011 World cup victory. His career was glorious but equally controversial. Earlier he was indulged in a few controversies too, but he got away with it. But when everything was going well, he did one big mistake. The mistake was unforgivable. And rightly so, he did get punished for it. But he could never quite come out of it thereafter. A ban of 7 years destroyed him in the worst possible way. He didn't just lose his reputation, he also lost the skills that he possessed. Life was not fair for him after 2013. When people who were involved in spot fixing or ball-tampering were given a chance again, Sreesanth never really got a chance again. Otherwise, it would have been a treat to watch him bowling with great aggression earlier. Just thinking of having an aggressive bowler like Sreesanth in the playing eleven with Virat Kohli as a captain would've been a sight everyone would've loved to witness. This aggressive duo would've mentally destroyed the opposition. Once when Steyn was asked the most frightening incident he had, he replied saying "Sreesanth dancing with the bat after hitting Andre Nel for a six still gives me chills down the spine". If the bowler like Steyn finds it frightening, imagine what others might have thought if the team up ok Kohli and Sreesanth might have had been a reality. But the latter's mistake, and fate had different plans for him . Not all endings are happy. This is one such end that is happy in no possible way for anyone. But speaking of what he has achieved, one would always say that in the 7 years of international cricket he played for India, he gave enough opportunities for billions of people to rejoice. And for all the reasons he made India smile, Indians will always be thankful. His catch in the 2007 T20 world cup, and Ravi Shastri's commentary "It's in the air, Sreesanth under the ball, takes it" will always be in the hearts of cricket fans till they continue to breathe. Sreesanth can be proud of what he has achieved in his life. And now when he decides to start his second innings, we, the team stayfeatured wish him all the luck and love he deserves. On this note Dr Pratik Mungekar, Planery Speaker IIU invited readers to be a part of the 12th Global Virtual Conference LEAD Philippines Global- Qatar on Multidisciplinary Trends in Academic Research organized by LEAD PHILIPPINES Leadership in Education Academy and Development, Philippines. He said "There are so many great ways to learn and sharpen your skills these days: you can read blogs, listen to podcasts, watch how-to videos on YouTube, and attend webinars, just to name a few. Why bother with the time and expense of an in-person conference or workshop? sometimes you have to take a break from the “work” of your work to sharpen your skills. A dull axe won’t cut a tree nearly as effectively as a sharp one. I always return from a conference with new ideas and approaches that make me more effective and efficient at work. Good conferences have opportunities for attendees to mix and mingle, form new relationships, and strengthen existing ones. • Bismah Maroof - Supermom and a true inspiration for everyone

Before the start of the high voltage match between India and Pakistan in the Women's World Cup 2022, the visuals which the fans saw made the cricketing world fall in love with women's cricket even more. The visual was of Pakistan Women Team's skipper Bismah Maroof. When everyone saw Bismah with her newborn angel in the Tauranga stadium accompanying her supermom, the world was in awe of the scene. In a true sense, Bismah Maroof has gained tremendous respect from fans across the globe. She serves to be an inspiration for all the women who wish to continue on their dreams without giving up or compromising on having a personal life which they wish. Her immense dedication to the game is the reason why she was able to do so. The star from Lahore was an academically bright student and her parents wanted her to be a doctor. But fortunately, she grew interested in cricket and continued to play it for her life as a career. It was only a matter of time before the star made her debut for Men in Green at the mere age of 15 years. Since then she has been an integral part of the team. She is the first Pak woman to score 1000 plus runs in ODI's . She captained the Pak side for almost 4 years where she led the team very well. In the case of most subcontinent women sportspersons, it is believed that indulging in personal relationships can make it difficult to pursue their passion in sports. In addition, it is also believed that having a child will almost make it impossible for sportswomen to re-enter the sport. But breaking all the shackles, Bismah set an example for sportspersons. In April 2021, when she announced her maternity break for an indefinite amount of time, most people might have thought that the career of Bismah was only till that point. But proving everyone wrong, she made a strong comeback and a solid statement to the world. After giving birth to a new women's star in August 2021, in December Bismah announced that she would be a part of the squad going to the world cup. In a quick period of 6 months post her pregnancy, she dedicated herself to her first love of cricket and made herself fit enough to clear all the required fitness tests to be a part of Women in Greenside. One can only imagine the pain she might have gone through the six months when she had to match the fitness levels she earlier had. Also thinking about practising hard enough to still be the best batter on the side in such a short time post-pregnancy can give goosebumps to anyone. But she did it. Not just that, during her maternity, leave too, she was constantly involved with the Pak team. The team had always considered her to be their leader even when she was not a part of the squad. This is why, she was chosen as the leader of the Pak side for the mega event, knowing that she was coming in the side after a long time. Seeing her in the stadium along with the little version of herself, therefore was a sight that everyone loved with their heart and soul. She was on her national duty, and along with it, she made sure her personal duties are taken care of too. Women are truly multi t, and Bismah is an example of that. To say the least, her personal life didn't affect her on-field behaviour one bit. Her field placements and rotation of bowlers against Indians was amazing. She lived up to the expectations of her being the best batter on the Pak side by scoring a half-century yesterday against Australia. The pics of her celebrating her half-century while her mother and newborn are in the stadium are good enough to melt the hearts of the strongest of the people. In a true sense, Bismah Maroof is an inspiration to everyone. She is a role model for every woman who wishes to be in the sport. What makes her journey even more special is the fact that she comes from a country, where Abdul Razzak, a player who has represented the country had ridiculed Nida Dar on a public platform, speaking about women who play country in a negative way. She has broken barriers of orthodoxy multiple times, and she will continue to do so. This is why none of the cricketers from the opposition can resist coming and meeting her and her newborn. Pakistan as a team is not performing up to the mark, but whenever one will speak of Pak skipper Bismah Maroof, one will always have the highest respect in their minds for her. • India won the match, but at the end women's cricket won

The India Pakistan match is always special for the fans of both countries. But few instances made it even special to watch. The very first instance was the visuals of Bismah Maroof holding her 6-month-old angel Fatima in the stadium. It was one of those instances where a picture says more than a thousand words. The whole world was in awe of the little angel, and admiration of the Pakistan skipper Bismah Maroof deserves all the appreciation in this world for breaking so many shackles of society at once. The true leader, Bismah went on an indefinite break for her maternity leave. But just post 6 months of her newborn daughter , she resumed national duties. One can just imagine how many hardships she might have gone through to recover so quickly post pregnancy to make a comeback, but she did it. And she didn't just rejoin the team, but she led the Women in Green on the ocassion of her re-arrival in International cricket. Which is why her pics with her daughter in the Tauranga stadium at Mount Maunganui were loved by millions. In addition to this , the visuals of Indian players visiting Pakistan dressing room to get a glimpse of the Bismah's daughter were heartening to see. The players who have won matches and have dominated the opposition were seen playing with the 6 month old angel like kids. The smile on the faces of all the Indian players while they were playing with the "bundle of happiness " Fatima flooded the social media with positive messages for Indian players. Also, one could visibly notice Bismah Maroof smiling from her heart when all of this was happening. That is the main purpose of any sport- to bring happiness and positivity. If politicians and policies divide the people, sports unite the people. Sports is all about uniting the people equally as it is about the fighting spirit, aggression and never giving up attitude. Therefore in cricket, one may have lot of opponents , but zero enemies. The instances which happened post the India Pakistan match is a live example of the same. And if this continues to happen, the real purpose of cricket will be served. Women's cricket in particular is all all about seeing women play their heart and soul for the game. And it is all about gaining equal respect to what men's cricket does have. Leading by example, the great determination shown by Bismah Maroof will definitely add to serve the purpose of bringing equality to some extent in women's game. It will show lot of young girls to follow their career, and still not compromise on a life they want. And the kind gesture of Indian women's team post the match would inspire many people to spread love instead of hatred. Considering all what happened in the game between India and Pakistan, one can definitely say that India might have just won the match, but at the end it was female cricket who emerged out to be victorious. Wishing all these women who play the game of cricket with sheer dedication a very very Happy Women's Day. • Glimpses of Science Day celebrated at Patparganj by Spherule Foundation and IBPS

For two years, schools were closed due to the pandemic of Covid-19 and it has made an impact on the lives of students. Not only in the sphere of education but their routine habits have been changed and they are still struggling to get on track again. The great divide has also been seen in the students due to their socio-economic backgrounds as some could afford high-fees of private institutions and continued with their online classes but on the other hand, there are many such eyes who have dreams yet had to drop out due to the bad economic condition of the households. In that condition, IBPS (Integrated Biopharma and Pharma Solutions) and Spherule Foundation, a Non-profit organization came forward and joined hands to support children whose growth was halted during the pandemic through Instashala Digital Classes. Spherule Foundation with its CSR partner IBPS helped 200 government school students by providing stationary centres kits, digital classes, and mobile data packs for online classes during the third wave of the pandemic. Students who do not have smartphones are also being provided access to tabs through their educators to attend the online classes. Currently, six centers are running under this project at Patparganj and Kalkaji in Delhi. Besides this, educators are also meeting parents and spreading awareness regarding the importance of education and parenting during this crucial and sensitive time as children spend more time with their parents and parents should also understand the socio-emotional needs of their children. Many curricular activities have also been organised for students to redevelop enthusiasm and passion towards studies which was lost in the last two years. Recently, Science Day was celebrated at Patparganj on 23rd of February, 2022. Students were happy and excited to learn novel experiments and projects. More than 40 students participated in the science models and posters competitions. During this program, they also learnt leadership, teamwork and communication skills regarding the presentation of their models and they used their creative minds in making this program more vibrant and successful. After this program, they felt more excited and eagerly waiting for future programs.

  • India start their world cup campaign continuing their winning streak against Pakistan

Continuing their 100% win record against Pakistan, Women in Blue started their world cup campaign with a victory against the arch-rivals. Both the Indian and the Pak side led played their heart out, with the former comfortably winning the encounter with a huge margin of 107 runs. With this victory, Indian women ensured 11th victory against Pakistan women, with one member common in all the 11 matches played - Mithali Raj . The Indian skipper, playing her 6th world cup chose to bat after winning the toss. Pakistan, which is known for its bowling lived up to the expectations in the initial overs. Diana Baig was getting the perfect swing, and Anam Amin on the other end kept bowling the lines according to the set field. With Diana breathing fire, the Indian openers started playing extremely cautiously, but Shafali eventually lost her wicket in an attempt to hit the ball for a boundary. Then came Deepti Sharma, who was promoted to number 3 due to her performance at the same position against the New Zealand series that preceded the world cup. Both Smriti and Deepthi took their time out in the middle and then took on the bowlers with calculated risks. Deepthi demonstrated the power in her bottom hand by going aerial at mid-on and Smriti displayed her elegance after starting cautiously. Smriti attacked the most valuable player of Women in Green Nida Dar. Both the left-handers stitched a partnership of 92 runs before the former was dismissed. Post that Smriti was dismissed after scoring a half-century. In quick succession, Indian wickets kept falling. Wickets of youngster Richa Ghosh, and experienced Mithali and Harmanpreet Kaur reduced Indian innings from 96/1 to 114/6 in 34th over. The spinners did the trick for Pakistan. The duo of Nida Dar and Nashra Sandhu used their experience to bring back Pakistan in the game. At this point, it looked like India can manage to reach the 70s. But Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana had different plans. Justifying their place in the playing eleven, both of them took no time to launch an attack on the Pak bowlers. Batting sensibly, both of them rotated the strike quickly, ran quickly between the wickets converting ones into twos, and dispatched the loose balls to the fence. Pooja displayed her wide array of shots hitting a magnificent cover drive against Baig, and cut shots against the spinners. And Sneh Rana displayed her street smartness and game awareness. Both of them, known for their lofted shots didn't hit any aerial shots knowing the importance of the situation. The duo stitched a partnership of 122 runs, which is the highest 7th wicket partnership in Women's world cup history. Their sensational batting took India from 114/6 in 34 overs to 244 runs at the end of 50 overs. It was now the turn of bowlers. And the 39-year-old Jhulan Goswami and Meghna Singh bowled beautiful lines and length to choke Pakistan openers. After the fall of the first wicket of Pakistan, Women in Green never quite recovered from the situation. None of the Pak batters got in the groove. For India, Rajeshwari Gayakwad scalped 4 wickets, and 2 wickets were scalped by Chakdah Express Jhulan at the crucial time. After proving her worth with the bat, Sneh Rana dismissed 2 Pak batters. Deepthi dismissed the Pak skipper and Meghna put the final nail in the coffin for Women in Green by dismissing Baig. Pak was bundled for 137, and India won the encounter with a huge margin of 107 runs. The game might look one-sided if one looks at the scorecard, but one who watched it completely understands that spirit of Pakistan women were high in the first innings. They bowled their heart out. They fielded well, making Indian batters fight for a single run and all their direct hits hit the Bullseye (but all the time Indian batters were had made the crease). In addition to this, the Pakistan skipper Bismah Maroof won hearts not just with her fielding placements, but also bringing her newborn angel in the stadium. One has to admire the dedication of Bismah Maroof. Pakistan may have lost the match, but the world cup campaign is still on for them. I'm very happy, my first player of the match award, in my first WC game. The plan was to somehow try and get to 200. I like to bat in pressure situations, even in domestics, I told the same to Sneh (Rana), to keep the partnership going. The batters told us that the wicket was slow, so the target was 200, but we didn't bat differently. The physio said that the injury will heal quickly and I'll be back soon. -Pooja Vastrakar ,Player of the Match Meanwhile, India has the round-robin raised the bar right in the first game. The runners-up in the last world cup, India would look to up their game with every coming encounter. The round robin format will allow them to face every participant. Indian team looks in great shape. The only worrying thing was Vastrakar's injury, which we hope should not be serious. A few changes like the inclusion of Yastika Bhatia for New Zealand and Australia encounters would ensure the short ball threat from these teams no more worries them. Also one would hope that the experienced duo of Mithali and Harmanpreet returns to form soon. Smriti Mandhana, the pillar of the Indian team who scored 25th fifty in just 66 innings becoming the fastest one to reach there would like to continue her form. With high hopes, India did well in the first match, and would surely love to do well and bring back the first World cup trophy for Women in Blue. We wish it happens. Also, we wish all these strong women a very Happy Women's Day Authored By:- Ashwin Jangam ( Cricket Analyst, Host and Entertainer) Instagram ID: https://www.instagram.com/cricket_creativity/

In a conversation with Mr Hundia, we tend to understand the company's business expansion plan, strategy for the post covid world along product offerings. Edited Excerpts: Business in new post Covid Era The year 2020 had been a dreadful year and will be inked in the history of the Indian manufacturing Industry since the most impacted sector during the pandemic was the manufacturing sector. The industry had observed a steep decline in production due to the global pandemic-driven shutdown. Mostly, all the businesses across sectors bore the brunt of the crisis but having said that different segments with the manufacturing class were hit severely. Some segments went through the darkest phase which ultimately had a ripple effect throughout causing turmoil in the value chain part. However, 2021 embarked on a new progressive journey for the manufacturing sector since it witnessed an uptick in the growth graph amid improved demand and eased covid restrictions. Further, it has gained more confidence in November and observed a strong increase in production and sales in the past few months. We achieved the revenue of INR 100 Cr in H1FY22, with diversified contributions from USB Drives, SSDs, Telecom Segment, etc. Expansion/business plans for EVM We have just announced a new 5cr fresh investment to enhance quality and introduce new products. We aim to close FY21 with 200cr in revenue. Further down the line, we would wish to enter into the smart wearable segment including fitness bands & smartwatches. We have added more than 100 new products in the current fiscal year &, with new investment in research and development, we aim to achieve more premium quality products which are exclusively designed for Indian consumers. New products in the pipeline We aim to increase our market presence in the IT & telecom segment with the launch of new advanced products in various categories including SSDs, Gaming Modules, Server Modules, Bluetooth Speakers, TWS audio products, GAN Chargers, Cables & Chargers. Government support to build India as a manufacturing hub The manufacturing industry is expected to operate full-fledged in the coming quarters since it has set a target of $ 400 billion in merchandise exports in 2021-2022, which is something achievable when government and industry synergize and work in tandem. To boost the manufacturing sector and make India the manufacturing hub, the Government has relaxed the excise duties on factory gate tax, capital goods, consumer durables, and vehicles.
