Women from different walks of life were felicitated by the Rahi Kadam Inspiration Award given by Dr S. L Chavan Foundation recently on the occasion of International Women's Day at Pune Shramik Patrakar Sangh. Chief guests Dr Akash Shah (Jehangir Hospital), Government officer Bhavana Agarkar, Actor/Model Roshni Kapoor, Counsellor Sonali Rao were present to grace the occasion. This year 21 women were felicitated with Rahi Kadam Inspiration Award. Dr Ashwini Salunke (Dermatologist) Naaz Shaikh Khan (Celebrity Fashion Designer) Pragati Aher (Master Chef) Mrunal Inamdar (Ambassador, Pinkathon) Dr Radhika Wagh (Gynecologist) Aarti Chavhan (Entrepreneur) Himadri S.Heer (Celebrity Stylist) Dr Bhavisha Parmar (Mrs Maharashtra) Neha Varma Madan & Gayatri Lakhani (Authors) and many other women achievers were felicitated.
President of Dr S. L. Foundation, Dr Girija Shinde spoke about the Foundation and its social activities in her introductory speech. Dr Suvarnalata Jadhavrao, Amla Raje Jadhavrao, Mahesh Agarkar, Social Activist and President Award winner Kishore Kalda and his wife were present at the award ceremony. Other members of the foundation, Harshavardhan Kadam, Raajvardhan Kadam, Bhaskar Shinde and Pratik Bhagat were present at the function. The event was coordinated by Pratibha Aarade, Mayuri Yevale, Ujwala Konde and Archana Gosavi.
