In an age where visibility is easy but authenticity is rare, Rashmi Shetty stands out as a leader who reminds us that communication isn’t just about being seen — it’s about being understood.
As the Founder & CEO of Cohort Communicationz, Rashmi brings over two decades of rich experience across corporate communications, agency leadership, mentoring, and advocacy. Her journey reflects a remarkable blend of professional evolution and personal purpose — one that has redefined how brands and individuals approach storytelling in today’s fast-paced world.

The Making of a Communicator Who Cares
Rashmi’s career began in traditional PR and communications, working across agencies and corporate setups. But as the industry evolved, she realized something profound: while technology made communication faster, it also made it noisier.
This insight led to the birth of Cohort Communicationz, a full-service communications consultancy built around authenticity and human connection. For Rashmi, PR is not about pushing narratives — it’s about creating trust, credibility,
and community.
“Visibility without credibility is just noise,” she often says. “Real communication builds connection, not just coverage.”
Through Cohort, she helps brands, founders, and CXOs bridge the gap between visibility and value — crafting stories that resonate with purpose and integrity.
A Leadership Philosophy Rooted in Empathy
Rashmi’s leadership style mirrors her personal beliefs — flexible, inclusive, and grounded in well-being. She emphasizes authenticity and empowerment, creating workspaces that celebrate individuality while driving collaboration.
Her philosophy reflects a deep understanding of today’s evolving communication landscape, where empathy and ethics are as crucial as expertise.
Championing Inclusion and Empowerment
Beyond the boardroom, Rashmi’s commitment to empowerment and inclusion takes center stage. As State President of the WICCI Maharashtra Women Empowerment Council and a member of the National Council of the World Leaders Forum (WLF), she works tirelessly to support women professionals, nurture leadership, and drive conversations around ethical and purpose-driven growth.
A certified psychology counsellor (NHA, Singapore) and mentor with platforms like Mentor2Go, she extends her work into nurturing women and youth — helping them find alignment between who they are and how they communicate with the world.

Turning Advocacy into Action
Rashmi’s most powerful advocacy, however, is deeply personal. As a mother to a young adult on the autism spectrum, she has emerged as a strong voice for inclusion and neurodiversity.
Through her public talks and writings, she normalizes conversations around autism, encouraging parents and communities to replace stigma with understanding. “Neurodiversity isn’t a challenge to fix,” she says. “It’s a perspective to embrace.”
Her advocacy seamlessly integrates with her professional ethos — showing that leadership, at its best, is both compassionate and courageous.
Evolving with the Future of Communication
As communication shifts in the digital era — with influencers, AI, and information overload shaping perception — Rashmi Shetty stands for something timeless: clarity, connection, and credibility.
Through Cohort Communicationz, she continues to champion a more conscious approach to communication — one where storytelling becomes transformational, not transactional.
Her mission is clear: to help brands, leaders, and individuals craft narratives that don’t just make headlines, but make a difference.
