FTCCI Excellence Awards Recognize Outstanding Contributions in Telangana's Business Landscape

Mr KT Rama Rao, Hon'ble Minister for Industries MA & UD, IT, E&C, Government of Telangana, presented the prestigious FTCCI Excellence Awards to 22 deserving recipients at a grand ceremony held at HICC, Madhapur, on Monday evening. The event witnessed the esteemed presence of Mr Jayesh Ranjan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Industries & Commerce (I&C) and IT, Electronics & Communications, Government of Telangana, and Mr Anil Kumar Chalamalasetty, Chief Executive and Managing Director of Greenko Group, who graced the occasion as guests of honour.



The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), a 106-year-old and dynamic regional chamber, instituted these awards to celebrate excellence and acknowledge the remarkable achievements of businesses in Telangana.





The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award to Padmabhushan Dr Nageshwar Reddy, CMD AIG Hospitals, in recognition of his significant contributions to the industry.

During his address, Mr KT Rama Rao acknowledged the importance of disruptive and innovative policies in the Telangana model's success. He cited examples such as TS iPass and Online Building Permission as reflections of this approach. He also highlighted Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao's governance, which combines a focus on rural and urban development, welfare, and progress.







Mr Jayesh Ranjan expressed a unique perspective on attracting investments, stating that existing investors serve as influential ambassadors for the state. Mr Anil Agarwal, President of FTCCI, welcomed the gathering and emphasized Telangana's rapid industrial progress over the past nine years.





FTCCI President Anil Agarwal also addressed the audience, highlighting the distinctiveness of these awards, given by the apex trade body rather than individuals or organizations. The awards hold immense value and respect in the industry.




The esteemed panel of jury members diligently evaluated the nominations and selected the deserving winners from the 150 entries received. The selection criteria included a focus on quality, high production, and significant contributions to the state's GDP.



The event concluded with a sense of anticipation and optimism, as the FTCCI and its stakeholders continue their efforts to promote the Telangana brand and foster sustained growth and development in the region.
