First West Bengal Short Film Festival on November 20 by Film Marathi Chitrapat Pariwar

The first West Bengal Short Film Festival will be organized on November 20 by Film Marathi Chitrapat Pariwar to give a platform to budding artists, technicians, and directors.





The festival will be held at Rotary Sadan, Kolkata, West Bengal on November 20 from 9 am to 6 pm. At 5 pm Mrs. India Divine Debashree Chakraborty and senior journalist, and author Srikant Kulkarni will distribute the prize of the festival.


More than seventy short films from various countries including India will be screened. This short film festival is free and open to all. Director of the festival Yogesh Barskar and convenor Ram Zond informed that many filmmakers and directors from West Bengal have also participated in this festival.





More than a hundred short filmmakers, technicians, and directors from different countries participated in the festival. More than 70 of these short films have been selected for the competition section of the festival. These short films will be exhibited at the festival. After a screening of short films, 35 prizes will be awarded in various categories.
