On the drenched days of July 25th and 26th, 2023, amidst incessant rains and a red alert from the meteorological department, an extraordinary sight unfolded in the vibrant regions of Medchal and Medak. One hundred and eighty brave and determined women gathered in the city outskirts of Muppireddypally for a two-day empowerment program organized by the Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI) in partnership with VST Industries. This event would later become a remarkable tale of determination and empowerment.
In a press note issued by Mr Meela Jayadev, President of FTCCI, he highlighted the resilience and motivation displayed by these women. The program, held near the premises of VST Industries, aimed to break down barriers and equip women with the necessary skills and knowledge to embark on successful entrepreneurial journeys.
The two-day women's empowerment training program had several key objectives, including empowering women entrepreneurs by instilling confidence and motivation, enhancing skills, fostering networking and mentorship, encouraging innovation, promoting community impact, ensuring sustainability and continuity, and providing recognition and support.
Inspirational talks by successful women entrepreneurs, expert-led workshops on business development and strategy, panel discussions on challenges and opportunities for women entrepreneurs, networking sessions with industry leaders and mentors, and an exhibition showcasing innovative products and services by women-led startups were some of the program's highlights.
In his closing remarks, FTCCI President, Mr Meela Jayadev, emphasized the importance of women's empowerment and their significant role in driving economic growth and development. He commended the participants for their dedication and encouraged them to apply the knowledge gained to create successful ventures.
