Talking about his journey, Dr Ankur said, “This is truly my Bollywood debut where I have written the lyrics, composed, directed and acted as well. After my MBBS, I started working and am currently practising at the JLN Medical College and Hospital in Ajmer. I did not receive any formal education in music but my passion helped me walk this path of music. I closely watched and studied the compositions of ace music composers. Even while practising medicine I continued writing songs, composing and performing it with my friends during college functions.”
“My musical venture wouldn’t have been complete without the active participation and support from my family who stood beside me during all odds. They have helped me in production, some played the role of the executive producer,” he said.
He said, “Hum Tere Hi Ho Jayenge is a complete love sequence made of three parts – the first part is a romantic track which will be released on October 25 whereas the other two sequels (the rock and the sad version) will be released later.”
“I wish to set a new trend in Bollywood – create a song series where the entire story will be narrated with music,” he said with a sparkle in his eyes.
Dr Ankur informed that the singer of the song – Javed Ali, one of the renowned Indian playback singers, has poured his heart out for this romantic song. Having sung in various regional languages like Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, etc, his rendition will touch the souls of music lovers from all walks of life.
“The pandemic situation has been bad for every single individual worldwide. It wasn’t different for me either. But it was music and the journey of making it that became the driving force,” said Dr Ankur added, “I urge everyone to not give up hope as there is light at the end of the tunnel.”
