Marking the 10th anniversary of World Youth Skills Day, Heritage International School commemorated the occasion with a powerful, purpose-driven event that emphasized the role of skill development in shaping a future-ready generation. Celebrated globally every year on July 15, this day draws attention to the vital importance of equipping young people with the tools they need to succeed in today’s rapidly evolving workforce.

This year’s celebration at Heritage International School centered around the global theme of "Empowering Youth through AI and Digital Skills." The event sought to bridge the gap between education and employability, particularly in the face of increasing unemployment and underemployment among youth.

Gracing the event were two young professionals—Ms. Aditi Patil (B.Tech in Biotechnology) and Ms. Akriti Singh (B.E. in Computer Science)—who served as inspirational role models for the students. Through an engaging interaction with the secondary section, the guests sparked curiosity and ambition among students by sharing real-world insights on the power of Artificial Intelligence, digital tools, green technologies, and 21st-century skills.

Their discussions highlighted how today’s youth can play a transformative role in global development when equipped with in-demand skills. They stressed that preparing students for both employment and entrepreneurship is key to building a stronger, more inclusive economy.

The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, acknowledging the valuable time and wisdom shared by the guests. Students extended their appreciation to Principal Dr. Renu Patil and the school management for organizing an event that was not only educational but deeply impactful.
