Heritage International School, Kasaramboli, Pune Celebrates Ashadhi Ekadashi with Traditional Fervour

Heritage International School, Kasaramboli, embraced the spiritual and cultural essence of Ashadhi Ekadashi with a vibrant celebration aimed at instilling traditional values and the teachings of revered saints in young minds.

The campus came alive with the sounds of “Tal vaje, Mrudung vaje, Vaje Haricha Veena… Vitthal Vitthal Jai Hari Vitthal”, creating a devotional atmosphere as students, dressed in colourful traditional attire, actively participated in a variety of competitions such as Shlokas, Abhanga, Bharud, Keertan, Skits, and performances on traditional instruments like taal and pakhwaj.

The event began with floral offerings and palkhi pooja at the shrine of Lord Vitthal-Rukmini, led by management member Samidha Bhilare and Principal Dr. Renu Patil. Finalists of the competitions showcased their talents virtually, demonstrating the spiritual and cultural richness of Maharashtra’s traditions.


Principal Dr. Patil, in her address, urged students to walk in the footsteps of saints who promoted social equality and moral values. She emphasized the importance of cultural awareness in education.

School management members Mr. Krishna Bhilare, Secretary Mrs. Sangeeta Bhilare, Directors Mr. Kunal Bhilare, and Mrs. Yashaswini Bhilare expressed pride in the students' performances and their heartfelt involvement in the celebration.

The Ashadhi Ekadashi observance at Heritage International School stood not only as a tribute to cultural legacy but also as a joyful learning experience that brought spirituality, community, and creativity together under one roof.
