Team Beta emerged as the winners of the TYE Business Plan Competition 2023 after a closely fought finals among four groups made up of 14 students from top schools across the city. The team members of Beta are Lasya Pericherla (Prerana Waldorf School), Palash Salla, Ananya Tirumala, and Varun Ponnala (all from Oakridge International School). Meanwhile, Team Gamma, composed of Nikita Shivakumar (Prerana Waldorf School), Sujith Chennupati, and Veeren Chowdary Boppana (both from Oakridge International School), won the People's Choice Award for their personalized meal delivery service that creates customized meal plans for individuals based on their dietary needs and preferences.
Both teams will be nominated for the TYE Global Competition, which is a testament to their excellent ideas and execution. The TYE program is designed to expose high school students to the key aspects of entrepreneurship and leadership skills. During the three-month program, the participants had the opportunity to interact with experienced entrepreneurs and receive guidance. The Vice President of the TiE Hyderabad chapter, Mr Srini Chandupatla, commended the TYE program for empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs.
