TiE Hyderabad successfully concluded the 16th edition of its TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Regional Finals, a platform that empowers high school students to ideate, innovate, and pitch startup ideas with real-world potential. This year’s finals featured six teams from a diverse mix of government and international schools across Hyderabad, all of whom had undergone three months of mentorship and a month of rigorous training.

After a compelling series of elevator pitches, live Q&A sessions, and in-depth feedback from a panel of industry experts, the team ‘Familiar Faces’ was declared the winner. The winning team comprises Satvik Reddy Chenna, Yashica, Abhiram Nori, and A. Jagadeesh. Their innovative mobile application aims to assist elderly Indians who are relocating to the United States, offering culturally familiar resources to ease their transition and enhance daily life abroad.
InClude, the first runner-up team, consists of Dakshita, Maanya Gupta, Veluri Purvi Shreasta, Naga Druthi, and Ananya. Their platform is designed to empower individuals with disabilities by enabling social connectivity, offering features such as anonymous therapy, educational content, and job-readiness training modules.
The second runner-up, Earthworm Cult.Fit, represented by Vedha Hamsini, Nihal Salla, Sri Jitendra Abhyun Bonthala, Puraj Sai Makkilineni, and Nallapothula Dayamani, introduced a sustainable solution focused on home-based earthworm cultivation for organic waste recycling and eco-friendly gardening.
The winning team, Familiar Faces, will go on to represent Hyderabad at the Global TYE Finals to be held later this year in New Delhi. In an exciting update, this year’s first runner-up team, InClude, will also have the opportunity to compete on the global stage through a wildcard entry.
The TYE program, a flagship initiative by TiE, continues to shape the next generation of entrepreneurs by nurturing innovation, leadership, and social impact among young minds.
