Aur Anuj won the best short film at the 9th Goa Short Film Festival held in Panaji while Kiki won the best international short film award. Goan filmmaker Viraj Salkar won the Best Goan Director and Writer award for his short film Quarantine while Gopal Bimbir's Unplug was the Best Goan Short Film.
Organized by Film Parivar Sanstha, the awards were distributed by veteran journalist writer Manaswini Prabhune and writer film critic Srikant Kulkarni. Festival director Yogesh Barskar was present on the occasion. A Little Someone, Best Animation Film, Prateik Gore's Pinjra, Best Experimental Film, Dhirender Singh Khandelwal for The Fight, Best Director in Fiction category, Aman Sukhadia's Hari Tu, Best Music Video, and Aman Sukhadia Best International Director for the same short film. was given
Mayank Pushpam Singh won the best director award for the short film Amras while Raj Desai won the award for the best screenplay category for the short film The First Labh. Bharat Deokar won the Best First Producer for the short film Chitra, Best Documentary for The Cut and Shivani Sadvelkar won the Best Director in the Animation categories for Daskar.
