- Ruaraka A wins as Pushkar Sharma hits a crucial half-century
Ruaraka A emerged victorious against Nairobi Gymkhana A, thanks to a valiant half-century by the Kenya National team opener Pushkar Sharma. Winning the toss, Ruaraka A chose to bat, a decision turned right by their openers. The openers Pushkar Sharma and Chandresh Hirani took on the Nairobi Gymkhana bowlers, with the latter following an aggressive approach. The southpaw reached his half-century quickly in just 34 balls, with a good strike rate of 140+. He looked in great touch as he approached his fifty even before half of Ruaraka's overs were completed. He was dismissed in the 10th over, but has set the tone of the match, and prepared a launch pad for his teammates, which was capitalised by another batter and helped the total score reach 169 runs. Post that, their bowlers took charge and restricted the Nairobi Gymkhana Kenya team to 132 runs, winning by a margin of 37 runs. Pushkar's aggressive approach right from the start helped the momentum in Ruaraka's favour heavily. His valiant innings combined with cameos by other batters and a round performance by Nitish Hirani eventually helped the Ruaraka A side to their victory. When asked about the fifty, Pushkar said, "There are many more to come. This is the first one of this year. I am very happy to play for Ruaraka Club and would thank the Ruaraka management and Mansukh Hirani for giving me an opportunity to play for Ruaraka. Today we won the first league match in Npca T20 and we look forward to winning more matches. Also, I would like to thank all the supporters and sponsors supporting me. I am happy to receive one more sponsorship from the HOUSE OF FONES in Kenya. Thanks to Mr Mohan Gidwani for supporting me here. - The Concept of Guidance & Counseling- Dr Pratik Mungekar
On January 22nd, Dr Pratik gave a career counselling lecture to students in Ahmedabad's 10th grade. As you can all see, there was an enormous response. He says, The concept of guidance has emerged many years ago and it is as old as human civilization. In earlier times, guidance was offered to the young people by elders in the family and the family priest gave guidance to those in distress. This practice continues even today, in India, where people acquire guidance from the family priest, significant elders in the family, palmist, astrologer or numerologist in personal, educational, vocational or political matters. Guidance, as an organized professional activity, dates back to 1905 and this is because of the work of Frank Parsons, Boston, USA. The author of the classic ‘Choosing a Vocation’ and his efforts to help find the Vocation Bureau, made him a pioneer in the guidance movement in America. Various social reformers followed Pearson and contributed to the guidance movement. In India, guidance as an organized professional activity is more than four decades old. From the beginning, we find that more experienced persons have been guiding less experienced or inexperienced persons. However, guidance at that time was limited and life was also simple as compared to today. Due to the complexities in present-day lives, guidance has become an integral component for better adjustment and this has called for specialized persons to give guidance and thus has helped individuals to adjust to social realities and live happy lives. Guidance - unorganized and informal existed in all places and at all levels and has been a vital aspect in various spheres, especially in the educational scenario. Counselling has been understood and defined in a number of ways. According to Cormier and Hackney (1987), counselling is defined as a “helping relationship that includes – a) someone seeking help, b) someone willing to give help who is capable or trained to help, c) a setting that permits help to be given and received. Arbuckle has mentioned three points about counselling. They are: a) Counselling is a process between two persons. b) The basic aim of counselling is to help the person in solving his problems Independently. c) Counselling is a professional job involving professionally trained persons. The following points below will give a clear picture as to what counselling is not. What counselling is not: Counselling is not giving information alone, though the information may be present Counselling is not giving advice Counselling is not influencing the clients’ values, attitudes, beliefs, interests or decisions with or without any scolding, or compelling the use of physical force. Counselling is not interviewing, though interviewing is involved. Therefore, the main objective of counselling is to bring about a voluntary change in the client. Counselling can be of two types, individual or group. Individual counselling is done face-to-face and Group counselling is done with a group of individuals. Group counselling is a useful way of helping adolescents for addressing issues that are related to peer group influence. Who can benefit from Counselling? At any point in time have you approached an elder in your family or teacher asking for guidance? If so, recall the incident and how was the experience. All of us irrespective of our age, sex and profession have been taking help from our elders, teachers and friends in solving certain problems. However, you might have faced situations where you would have felt the need to take help from a professional or trained and experienced person such as a counsellor. If we have a problem that we are unable to solve and because of which not able to carry on day-to-day activities, then we can go and seek professional help. All of us can benefit from counselling provided we need such professional help. Counselling can also form an integral part of the healing process for those who have lost a loved one, or who are suffering from a terminal illness, helping them to come to terms with death and bereavement. Specialists are available for areas of specific need, for example, Educational, Career Counselling, Family, Personal and Marriage Counselling. Group Counselling is beneficial for people to share their feelings and receive advice from those in similar circumstances such as victims and survivors of disasters About Dr Pratik Mungekar 1) He is the first Indian to be appointed as the planetary Minister of Sustainable Development of Newly emerging The Kingdom of Atlantis (a Decentralized Sovereign Kingdom) 2) He is the first youngest Indian whose book Introduction to Sustainable Development Goals (Non-Academic) is now part of the Atlantean Education program. 3) He is the first youngest Indian to receive 300+ Honorary Doctorates from all over the world. 4)He is the first youngest Indian professor who taught more than 8000+ Students & Career guided 4000+ Students to date & the count is still on. 5) He is the first Indian who has 850+ International, National & State Awards 6 National Patents, and 15 World Records at the age of 28 for his contribution to the field of Teaching & Research. 6) He is the first youngest Indian to receive 125+ Honorary High Degrees across the Globe. 7) He is the first Indian to be appointed by 45+ International organizations to various High-positions at the same time. 8) He is the first youngest Indian to be appointed as Ambassador by 46 organizations of many countries in almost all disciplines. 9) He is the first Indian youngest professor to start teaching at the age of sixteen, the age of twenty Seven He has completed twelve years of Teaching. 10) He is the first Youngest Indian to receive Royal & Prestigious Titles such as 1)Lecturus Magnificus (L.M.), 2) H.R.H. 5* Duke. 11) First Youngest Indian to receive Mendeleev’s Fellowship ( United Kingdom’s Highest Academic Honour). 12)First Indian to receive the distinguished title “Professor Wisdom” from Institución Cultural Colombiana Casa Poética Magia y Plumas, Colombia South America. 13) Visting faculty in many National & Foreign Universities. 14) Director of Research & Innovation OXFAA University, Lighthouse Leadership University. 15) Vice Chancellor Unified Theological Seminary USA University of Kingdom of Atlantis Today, the name of Prof. Dr Pratik Rajan Mungekar is no longer common but is emerging as a distinguished Scientist, Professor, World Educationist, Published Writer, Counsellor, Social Worker, and an International Speaker Instagram Id: ww.instagram.com/drpratikmungekar/ Facebook id: https://www.facebook.com/Pratikmngkr7
- Mission Majnu- India's Spy Story
We have yet another patriotic movie by Siddharth Malhotra, which is based on Nuclear Atom Bombs and a fictional cold war between India and Pakistan, which apparently turned into a mission, where Amrendar Singh aka Tarekh, is on a mission to identify and locate the preparation of nuclear bomb in Pakistan. The story seems better and the screenplay makes us stick to our seats. We see exciting twists in the movie, which include Raman Singh aka Kumud Mishra, Aslam Usmaniya aka Sharib Hashmi, and a lead actress Nasreen played by Rashmika Mandhana. The story is based in the late 1970s when a spy world was pretty active and the war did happen through the spies. We see a plot where India was under the president's rule of Indira Gandhi and we had a nuclear test in Pokhran. Opposite to that, Pakistan in the thought of a nuclear test planned the things with help of China and North Korea. Talking about characters, Siddhrath Malhotra has carried the role noteworthy. His actions, dialogues and spy mindset lets us get involved with his character more deeply. A guy with an accused case on his father decides to go on a mission, where there is less chance of returning back to India. Rashmika Mandana's role was task worthy. Carrying self as a blind woman throughout the film is not at all a joke. Her character is just the opposite of the main lead, with care , emotions and love. Lets come to the screenplay and direction now. Screenplay by Aseem Arrora, Sumit Batheja, Parveez Shaikh and direction by Shantanu Bagchi, made it possible to give this film a base where it made a spy thriller. The film is produced by Ronnie Screwvala , with the production house of RSVP movies, Guilty By Association Media LLP. Talking about the costumes, we see the delightful costumes of Indian and Pakistani officials, which really attracts the movie. Overall, a decent spy thriller movie, with Patriotism touch is here to entertain you on Netflix. - Mona PV More and Jagruti Channel: The Voice for Social Field
Hello! I am Mona. PV. More, a professional social worker, working in this field for more than 8 years. I was always passionate about the work I do, while working with various NGOs, there were so many things I got to learn. I saw life through a very different lens, which I never got to see before, and because of that, I feel so privileged to be part of the social field. While working with communities, where there was lack of education, skills, addiction rates were high, crime rates were high, marriage at an early age, health issues, daily survival was a challenge etc. While working and meeting other social workers, I always felt "What would have happened if these NGOs had never reached out"? While putting in so much effort these NGOs face tremendous challenges like lack of resources, funding, manpower, lack of awareness about the social field because of that people are not willing to reach out and help, misunderstanding about the social field, training etc. When I formed my organisation "Astitva Social Foundation One Vision", I the same challenges our team faced. At that time I thought of starting with my own YouTube channel JAGRUTI CHANNEL (LOVE FOR SOCIAL FIELD), where my team members Adv. Savita Bhalerao, Mr. Sagar Nikalje, Adv. Snehal Patil and Mr Vinit More supported me a lot, through this channel I got the opportunity to interview NGOs and social workers etc, who are contributing to social welfare. At that time I realised that most of the challenges are common. The social field is a noble field, where social workers are putting in so much effort for the people, then why are they facing so many challenges? It is the responsibility of every citizen to reach out to the social worker and help them in whatever possible way. Development is not only limited to taking a degree and job, but to reach out to the sections where actual change and support are required, as individuals it is easy to reach out to an NGO, visit it at least once a month, see the work they do and help them in their endeavour. The development will happen only when every aspect of society is developed. Through this article I would like to spread awareness, social workers are also humans who have family and responsibility, yet they put in all the effort for society. If you are willing to do something, come forward, spread awareness. You can support them in various ways like being a Volunteer, donating in various ways (Funding, Books, Stationary, Unwanted things you have, clothes, unwanted furniture etc) making resources available, if you have the skill can share that, help them in upskilling their work through various training, spread the voice. To understand the need firstly you will have to reach out to them. It's not important how much you give but you must have the willingness to support. You can contact me on the following. Name- Mona. Yet a leader connects every loop and makes the vision beautiful. A proper business runs on strategy, tactics, collaborative decisions, critical thinking, etc. MY INTRODUCTION AS A BLOGGER & DIGITAL AUTOMATION WIZARD If you're a wizard with words, then writing your blogs should be a breeze...right? Most recently I have used my skills in retail, eCommerce, healthcare, and media sectors. ● Automated Articles Now that all of our articles are organized and data-driven rather than narrative, they are all automated. The entry fee for adults is Rs 300/- and for Kids Rs 150/- Responsible Pet Parenting is the only way forward to avoid recurring freak incidents like the recent one which took place in the city where a food delivery boy jumped off a building to escape a dog and subsequently died, said experts in Pet Industry who spoke at the Press conference. Mr. Philip Bhutt, Honorary Secretary of the Hyderabad Canine Club said lack of awareness is the big problem on both fronts. Both animals and human beings are scared of each other. In this case that is what has happened. Dogs are not scary animals. At the same time irresponsible pet parenting who don’t invest in socializing dogs is another issue. Awareness is the key, he added. Mr. Nitin Jain, Sales Director of Mars Intl India added that one must get to know dogs and other pet animals better and also must learn to care for them. We on our front have been organizing seminars sensitizing people on Responsible Pet Parenting. Intervening here, Mr. TG Srikanth, Business Head of Hitex, who is organizing Petex, India’s largest Pet Industry expo said, post-pandemic lot of people were crazy about adopting pet dogs, not knowing much about their care etc. What we need is more awareness. Having pets at home has existed from time immemorial. But we have seen a rapid increase in pet adoption during the past decade. And this further increased during the recent pandemic.. It is now estimated that there are over 2 crore adopted dogs in India. And the adoption of cats is catching up fast. It is estimated that 20% of pet parents adopt cats. The reasons for this adoption are cited to be many. Ever increasing size of the middle-income group and their capability to spend, increase in the micronuclear families where pets have become the most sought-after companions and for the same reason due to the loneliness humankind faced due to the restrictions during the pandemic. The way we live has changed and along with us our pets have moved. They are no longer viewed as animals who hang around the backyard. We now get to hear things like “pet parents”, “humanization of pets” etc., Consequence of all these developments is the explosion of the pet care industry. With an estimated size of about 8000 to 10,000 crores in India and growing at a pace of 14% annually, India is among the fastest growing pet care industries across the globe, he added Multiple sectors have opened up due to this rapid growth. The pet food industry leads with over 80% of the market and others that are catching up fast are Grooming, Health care, Accessories, Toys, and Cafes. To address these issues, 5 5th edition of Petex has come up with a 360-degree approach to the pet industry. We have successfully brought in representations from all these sectors. At the same time, we also appeal to the Government to come out with Pet Care Policy or Policy on Companion Animals. Giving details Mr. Nitin Jain said, Pedigree is the world’s No.1 dog food brand associated with Petex. We make healthy, delicious food for dogs of all shapes and sizes around the globe Some of the highlights are that it will hold Hyderabad’s third International dog show – HyCan’23 which will showcase over 500 dogs belonging to 50 different breeds that will be judged by eight international judges from Spain, India, Australia, South Africa, Austria & Sweden. It will be the biggest show in India. The Indian Cat Federation will hold the International Cat Show. This is a unique show. It will feature 120+ cats that will be judged by two International Judges from Turkey & Latvia Another unique event will be Yoga amidst puppies. People can do Yoga classes with Indian-breed puppies Dogathon, a mini-marathon for pet dogs with their parents will also be held. - Regenerative leadership and empathy in Law?- Arunima Jha
Well, there's been a lot more demand recently for empathetic lawyers, so today I thought to discuss the power of empathy and how to utilize empathy to drive businesses and social growth by increasing humanity and connectivity. Empathy is all about seeing the world from someone else's perspective. It's all about deep diving into someone else's situation to find an appropriate resolution. So how can empathy be beneficial for organizations? The reality is that we live in an empathy deficit world, and that's a term that was coined by President Barack Obama back in 2006. So almost 16 years ago on a global stage, this has already been recognized and yet very little has been done about it. Today we are living in a world where we continue to experience declining empathy levels. Fundamentally, when people are disconnected, when people are feeling isolated, they don't perform as well because as humans our greatest need is to be seen and to be heard. That's like at the bottom of Maslow's hierarchy, right? I think it's a conversation that's changing in the legal world. First and foremost, better listening skills can help your client feel more connected. Secondly while working with your adversaries, you can understand them better, of course, there are a host of other benefits as well. Theodore Roosevelt once said nobody cares how much you know until they know how much you care. And it's so true because if you had the two best lawyers in the world in the room to choose from, everything else remaining equal as humans, we will gravitate towards the ones that we think care a bit more, get it a bit more, understand us a bit more. As people, we connect with people that connect with us. It's contagious, actually. The most successful brands, they're successful because they're able to establish a form of emotional connection with the end consumers. The difficulty the lawyers have is the legal topics don't really facilitate the use of emotions because they're quite technical, but also, we're trained to write in a very clear, structured, logical way. There isn't as much attention to empathy, I guess. But the reality is the more connected you are to humanity, to human beings, the more impactful that marketing will be.
