His actions and war scenes are worth seeing. Shiv Pandit is very aptly cast as Captain Sanjeev Jamwal. A man with a coconut heart. Hard from outside, and soft from inside. Nikitin Dheer is impressive as the cheerful Major Ajay Singh Jasrotia and so is Shataf Figar as the straight-talking Col. Yogesh Kumar Joshi. Both have given their best shots. Romantic scenes between Siddharth and Kiara( a Sardarni), somewhat slow the film. The film is obviously on Patriotism. Also, coming to big scenes, the locations, sets are put up nicely, giving a proper environment of a war field. The Writer has taken a lot of effort, to build characters such as Vikram Batra. While Sheershah is a code name given to Siddharth, during the war. Kargil War was one of the wars, where we lost many of our soldiers including PVC Capt. Vikram Batra. In this season, TASC is assigned the task of rounding up Subbu, one of the key persons of the Lankan Government in Exile, and the younger brother of that govt’s Prime Minister Bhaskaran. So, TASC is good to go for national security. And of course, one of the high points in this season is the friendship of Jk and Shrikant. Samantha Akkineni as Raji is sincere, doing total justice to her role, but her full potential is only seen in a couple of scenes. She is the same on her track in most of her scenes. In season two, creators Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK continue showing conflicts between the broad mind and internal mind. While, we see Raji at the center of this, a rebellion with an assassination mission with her. Samantha, with a thick layer of the brown face, makeup is very appreciable. Also, there is a lot of change as per her character in her body language which is quite a surprise. Samantha plays a classic Antagonist. Also, some funny scenes between the family, try to neutralize the war between TASC and Shrikant. Also great to see Shreya Dhanwanatary, again being part of this series after her great role in Scam 1992. Sharib Hashmi. As: JK Talpade, played his role up to mark. Overall a powerpack performance by each one. Still, there are some loopholes, which we might observe, but they can get covered in the upcoming Season 3 of The Family Man. - Toofan - Felt short from the "punch" to be better at boxing
The thing we will all agree is that we love to see sports movies more because they have all things in them. Hatred, Love, Josh, Politics, etc. This is a film of that genre. Farhan Akthar, a " Mawali" of 'gullies' of Dongri, gets inspired by a great wrestler, Mohammad Ali, and wants to learn Boxing. Boxing is a game of defence. He learns this tact very early. Eventually, he gets to know " Nana", the role played by Paresh Rawal. We can call him, an authentic rowdy coach, who focuses on his students to be the best boxers. Through some conversations, and prove facts, Nana Sir, aka Paresh Rawal orders Aziz Ali aka Farhan Akhtar to practice with one arm punch to be better at boxing. The training of Aziz Ali continues with a song, that really motivates and displays the journey of Ajju Bhai coping with boxing. As I mentioned earlier, that no film cannot be completed without love, the doctor played by Mrunal Thakur, enters Ajju Bhai's life, and romance begins. Ajju Bhai is now a well-trained boxer and is ready to fight with other boxers. And then the matches begin, in tournaments, Quater-finals, Semi-finals, and then the path leads to finals of the tournament. Whereas, the story puts a conflict situation of religion. As Ajju and Ananya aka Mrunal Thakur ( Daughter of Nana), who is fallen in love with Ajju, decides to commit her love in front of her father ( Nana), who is already known with it. The film shows the conflict of religion, which should not be a factor coming in way of a sport. While Nana is upset, Aziz is also terrified, knowing that Ananya is Nana's daughter. Especially, in the scene where Farhan is sitting on a rock near the sea, while Ananya, comes there and keeps her head on Farhan's shoulder, the scene shows they are in true love and they want to be together for their entire life. Dr.Ananya Prabhu, aka Mrunal Thakur, is playing the role of doctor, who treats Farhan aka Aziz, after getting hurt on fitting with goons. Then we come to the climax of the movie, we see Aziz, getting banned for 5 years, for a fraud case, which is true. Years went by and one fine day, a letter arrives from NBA, which is avoided by Aziz. While there is another twist where we see, death of Mrunal Thakur. And Aziz taking care of his daughter and then, we see the Return of TOOFAN again after 5 years. The role played by Dr. Mohan Agashe and Ratna Pathak are incredible, supporting and correcting whenever it is necessary, which is practical, what I felt is good. The film shows up-downs of a boxer life, which is nicely put on by Rakesh Mehra, writing of Farhan Akthar, Vijay Maurya, and Anjum Rajaballi can be given credit as they pinpointed the aspects of Boxers Life. Masterstroke Carrom Academy will be started soon at Undri in Kondhwa Budruk, a suburb of Pune, on August 10 at 11.30 am. The academy will be inaugurated by senior Carrom player five times National and three times world cup winner Suhas Kambli and Former Deputy Chairman Haveli Taluka Panchayat Samiti Sachinsheth Ghule. An announcement was made in the press conference which was attended by senior Indian Carrom Team coach Suhas Kambli, international players Anil Mundhe and Abhijeet Tripankar, ICF Cup Federation panel umpire Sandeep Adagale, Director of Master Stroke Carrom Academy Ganesh Adagale, Deputy Director Asha Bhosale and Member of Maharashtra Carrom Association, Ashutosh Dhodmise. "The game of Carrom is well known and it is played at home and is enjoyed by everyone from children to senior citizens. But there is no awareness of the fact that the same game is being played commercially at the national and international levels. The main motive of the academy is to create awareness as carom can be won at district level national and international level as well as there is an international competition of carom like IPL so carom needs to be recognized as a great professional sport without looking at it as entertainment or leisure" said Suhas Kambli in the conference. The Academy is open to all and It will provide opportunities for boys and girls in the age group of 6 to 21 to learn from special national and international players.
