Shivjayanti Utsav Celebrated at Mukul Phate's Residence to Honor Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj

Maharashtra, February 19 — In a heartfelt tribute to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, Mukul Phate, a prominent social figure and ardent admirer of the legendary Maratha king, hosted the annual Shivjayanti Utsav at his residence this year. The event, which takes place every year on February 19, was marked by prayers and a special thank-you ceremony for the invaluable legacy left by the founder of the Maratha Empire.



Speaking at the event, Mukul Phate expressed deep reverence for Shivaji Maharaj, emphasizing the significance of his vision for Hindavi Swaraj — a free and self-reliant India. “We celebrate Shivjayanti every year to pray to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and thank him for establishing Hindavi Swaraj,” Mukul said. “His governance principles, bravery, and devotion to his people continue to inspire us today.” The gathering was attended by residents, dignitaries, and history enthusiasts, all of whom joined in paying their respects.


The event featured recitations of Shivaji Maharaj’s teachings, devotional songs, and speeches highlighting his contributions to Indian society and culture. Traditional Maharashtrian food was also served, adding to the festive atmosphere.
