Pune, September 28, 2025: On Sunday, September 28, the Don Bosco Youth Centre in Koregaon Park came alive with “Ekrang - The Colour of Inclusivity,” a vibrant event dedicated to celebrating unity and unique abilities. The festival aimed to promote a more inclusive society and successfully brought together the community, with over 100 neurodiverse individuals participating in a day filled with inspiration, talent, and joy.

The event was a collaborative effort led by four organisations: Romal Surana of the Nanhagyan Foundation, Surabhi Aplesh of Ridaan Array, and Soma Gupta and Smita Banavali representing Ghummakaad and Ahilya.
Distinguished guests, including Neha Jajoo, Jaspriya Gandhok, Dr Saraswati Kanse, Dr Supriya Joshi, and Neha Chimbalkar, attended and praised the spirit of the initiative.
Launch of "Different - Not Less" Platform
A highlight of the day was the launch of the “Different - Not Less” platform by Sudhanshu Kumar and Sakina Dhariwal from the Avyan Idris Foundation. This innovative digital platform is designed to provide a permanent, global stage for neurodiverse children to showcase their unique talents and performances.
Inspiring Speeches and Heartfelt Testimonials
The event began with the “NGF Talk” segment, featuring 11 remarkable children from The Blessed Ones, Sunderji Special School, Buddy Centre, and other institutions. After a 90-day mentoring program led by Romal Surana of the Nanhagyan Foundation, these young speakers delivered powerful speeches that captivated the audience. Their confidence and eloquence moved everyone present. The session was further enriched by heartfelt testimonials from parents, who shared their personal journeys and experiences.
A Celebration of Talent and Enterprise
The second half of the day featured the “Juniverse” talent show, organised by Ridaan Array. The audience enjoyed a variety of performances, including energetic group dances, soulful solo singing, graceful solo dances, and skilled instrumental music.
At the same time, Ghummakaad and Ahilya curated a lively market flea, showcasing beautiful handmade products such as soaps, decorative items, clothing, DIY kits, paintings, organic cosmetics, and a variety of delicious foods, all of which attracted much attention from attendees.
Overwhelming Response and Acknowledgements
With over 400 people in attendance, the event was a resounding success. The organisers expressed deep gratitude to the sponsors—The Blessed Ones, The Ahsa International School, the Gupta Family, Nurturing Kindness, Kirandeep, Nanhagyan Foundation, and Blooming Tanman—whose support was invaluable.
Media partners Stay Featured, Mahaj Times, and Neel Writes supported the event, while photographer Javed expertly captured the day’s joy and emotion.
