Well, reviewing this film very late. But saw it finally. Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham as the main lead and the story are about saving the nation.
A masala -Blockbuster film, breaking records in Bollywood, made a huge impact on the industry after the Lockdown years.
The story is simple and easy to understand. Pathaan and Rubina are spies and we have antagonist Jim who has an eye on the country. The mission is to neutralise Jim and secure the country.
Talking about the performance, Shahrukh Khan is nice. Action sequences are top-class and well executed. Deepika overperforms to match the actions of other characters. While John is good.
The songs are well-shooted and the story and screenplay open fewer loopholes to find out. Well, it is an entertainer, so we just have to keep our minds and brain aside and watch the actions and story.
Directed by Siddharth Anand and Written by Shridhar Raghavan, this film set an example of how an Action film should be.
The hero and team are flying from the plane, bikes running, cars crashing, everything at its perfect place, yet the story seems actor-driven.
All put together, it is a one-time watch film, where we see romance, action, and drama in one game. The music is nice, locations are wonderful. The twists in the movie engage us.
