Heritage International School Celebrates Nag Panchami and Kargil Victory Day with Cultural Pride and Patriotic Spirit

Heritage International School, Kasar Amboli, commemorated Nag Panchami and Kargil Victory Day on 28th July 2025 with great enthusiasm, blending cultural traditions and national pride through a series of engaging activities.

The event witnessed active participation from students across Grades 1 to 10, reflecting the school’s commitment to instilling cultural values and patriotism among its young learners.

To celebrate Nag Panchami, a variety of activities were organised:

• Grades 1 & 2 showcased their creativity through a clay modelling competition.

• Grades 3 to 5 designed and displayed posters based on the festival’s theme.

• Grades 6 & 7 participated in vibrant Mehendi and tattoo competitions.

• Grade 8 presented an insightful PPT on the significance of Nag Panchami, attended by students of Grades 6 to 8 in the school’s space lab.

In honour of Kargil Victory Day, students from Grades 9 & 10 penned heartfelt essays in English, Hindi, and Marathi, paying tribute to the brave Indian soldiers who made the ultimate sacrifice for the nation.

The program, held from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm, was graced by the esteemed presence of Mr. Krishna Bhilare (Founder President), Mrs. Sangeeta Bhilare (Secretary), Directors Mr. Kunal Bhilare and Mrs. Yashaswini Bhilare, along with the dedicated teaching staff.

Addressing the gathering, Principal Dr. Renu Patil lauded the enthusiastic participation of students and highlighted the importance of honouring national heroes while preserving India’s rich cultural heritage.

The dual celebration not only deepened students’ understanding of traditional festivals but also strengthened their sense of national pride, making it a truly memorable occasion.
