  • Mayaa SH: Independent India

India's journey to freedom was filled with immense sacrifice, courage, and unity. From the Revolt of 1857 to the Quit India Movement, our freedom fighters faced numerous challenges to secure our independence. Remember and honour their sacrifices as we celebrate this day of freedom. India is considered the mother of all the cultures of the world. Be it the art of living, science or the field of politics, Indian culture has always had a special place. The cultures of other countries have been destroyed along with the stream of time, but the culture and civilization of India have remained immortal with its traditional existence since ancient times. Harmony of spirituality and materiality, unity in diversity, receptivity and antiquity are the four pillars of strength and pride for our country. This is an admirable reflection of the exponential growth mindset that all are drivers of a healthy democratic and secular country. One must be aware of the contradiction between parliamentary democracy and capitalist industrial organization. Economic inequality is inherent in the capitalist system which cannot bring about political equality and renders democracy useless. Parliamentary democracy creates passion for 'liberty' but 'equality' is not seen as such. Democratic Socialism sees the individual as the end, but in such a situation, individuals become means and an obstacle to the freedom of the individual, due to which it difficult to bring equality to society. There should be a good economic institutional system to take advantage of the fundamental rights where the person can afford his or her rights. Describing freedom, equality and fraternity as major principles. Today, when democratic values are in danger, one must operate as a social scientist who is not bound to any particular caste but guides the entire society and visualizes an egalitarian society that is yet to be converted into reality. Liberty is based on equality and fraternity. In such a society there should be the same criteria for everyone and availability of work according to his or her interest. Equal opportunities and equal treatment should be available to all persons. It is not enough for democracy to be only political, it should also be social and economic. While thinking about Secularism, it does not mean the abandonment of religion. Political democracy cannot survive without basic social democracy. What is the meaning of social democracy, it is a method that gives life value to freedom, equality and fraternity. A person is an 'end' in himself or herself. It means that the person is rational (logical) and sovereign. It is not a means to achieve something for someone else but to achieve his or her goal, it has its importance. An individual has certain inalienable rights which should be guaranteed to him or her by the constitution. In the Indian context, these rights are given in the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, which is guaranteed by the Indian Constitution to its citizens. Economic equality is necessary to establish political and social equality. To establish political equality, social and economic equality is necessary and to establish social equality, it is necessary to establish political and economic equality. All three principles are necessary for each other, the lack of one becomes the lack of all. For social, economic, religious and political equality in all respects, it is imperative to uplift the untouchables. Whatever change has taken place in society today, it is to be based on the dedicated efforts of laying the foundation for a society that permits the actualization of man's essence, by overcoming his alienation. National planning, a substantial degree of economic equality among the people and a high level of productive forces form the base of a doctrine to lead a change towards a society based on common or public ownership of resources and means of production leading to a more equal society. Constitutional morality is extremely important. Nothing will be affected by the shortcomings of the Constitution if there is constitutional morality. But in the absence of constitutional morality, no matter how good the constitution is, it will not be a factor in the result of emulating the principles of Liberty and Equality. Social Equality is extremely important before political equality. Independence reflects that there is all-round freedom, that is, for the individual as well as for the society; freedom for the rich as well as for the poor; freedom for men as well as for women; Freedom for all individuals and all classes. This freedom implies not only freedom from political bondage but also equality, distribution of wealth, abolition of caste barriers and social inequalities and destruction of communalism and religious intolerance. The belief in the co-equal connotation of freeing society from political, economic and social oppression is the need of the hour. When all the shackles are removed, we can proceed to build a new society based on the eradication of poverty, unemployment, unequal opportunity, racism, malnutrition, substandard housing, employment discrimination, child abuse and neglect as social problems. The main objective of our independence begins with an exponential growth mindset which must be self-reliant on the ideology to build a free and classless society." May the spirit of freedom bring endless joy and success. Happy Independence Day! • Importance of Psychological Safety at the Workplace | Ashreeta Mohanty

"Psychological safety" has become a catchphrase. Those unfamiliar with the term often think it simply refers to protecting workers’ mental health. However, psychological safety at work is more specific: it is the shared belief among team members that they will not be embarrassed, rejected, or punished for sharing ideas, taking risks, or providing feedback. A psychologically safe workplace begins with a sense of belonging, where employees feel accepted and can contribute fully, ultimately improving their organization. Psychological safety in the workplace doesn’t mean that everyone is nice to each other all the time. Rather, it means that people feel free to brainstorm out loud, voice half-finished thoughts, openly challenge workflows, share feedback, and work through disagreements together — all while knowing that leaders value honesty and that team members have one another’s backs. When people openly discuss their own mistakes rather than pointing out others, it suggests that your workplace is psychologically safe. When workplace psychological safety is present, people feel comfortable bringing their full, authentic selves to work and are confident in pitching any idea to leaders and teammates. Organizations with such safe work environments — where employees feel free to ask bold questions, share concerns, seek help, and take calculated risks — are all the better for it. Research shows that teams with high levels of psychological safety report higher performance and lower levels of interpersonal conflict. However, it’s important to note that not all team members hold the same perceptions. The Importance of Psychological Safety in the Workplace: Psychological safety at work is not just a “nice to have;” it impacts the organization’s bottom line. A higher level of consistent psychological safety helps unlock the contributions of all talent in the organization and ensures the organization is better equipped to prevent failure. Research has repeatedly found that organizations benefit from diversity of thought, and groups of people with different life experiences are better able to recognize problems and offer creative solutions. But what if some team members don’t feel comfortable speaking up? What if they’re afraid to share their narratives? What if they avoid suggesting new and innovative ideas because they’re worried about the consequences? Unfortunately, many people feel this way about their workplace. According to one report, only 3 out of 10 employees agreed that their opinions count at work. People who perceive their work environment as psychologically safe are more willing to engage in risk-taking behaviours that contribute to greater organizational innovation. This ultimately yields a more robust, dynamic, and inclusive organizational culture. In contrast, when psychological safety at work is low and people are uncomfortable raising concerns, the organization isn’t equipped to prevent failure, and talent begins to disengage. When employees aren’t fully committed to shared organizational goals, the organization loses the opportunity to leverage the contributions of all its talent. Why Psychological Safety in the Workplace Matters Now More Than Ever? The rise of the hybrid workplace and virtual work arrangements since the pandemic has made psychological safety at work more complex for leaders today. It can be harder to build a psychologically safe “workplace” when employees are not all co-located and many are working remotely. If you think implementing psychological safety at work is hard, maintaining it is even harder. Organizations need leaders who can show empathy, demonstrate authenticity, and communicate effectively to create a psychologically safe work environment. According to one survey, 89 per cent of employees believe that psychological safety in the workplace is essential. Research also suggests there is a strong link between higher employee satisfaction and better business outcomes. By making psychological safety a priority, leaders can set their teams up for success now and long into the future. Psychological safety plays a huge role in shaping your company's core values and culture. When a team or organizational climate is characterized by interpersonal trust, respect, and a sense of belonging at work, members feel free to collaborate and take risks, ultimately enabling them to drive innovation more effectively and be more productive. • Mayaa SH | Feminine Sensibilities, Suicide Prevention and Women Empowerment

Developmental Feminist, Women Empowerment Culturist, Social and Legal Activist, Literary Genius and Reformer Mayaa SH in this article speaks about Feminine Sensibilities, Suicide Prevention and Women Empowerment. Feminine sensibility is a concept that emerged in the Enlightenment Era and continued to be defined in the Romantic Period. It describes the level to which women are affected by the world around them. It is the pursuit of women's rights within the society of India. Feminism does not particularly talk of equality and rights of a woman but it is more about compassion, respect and understanding from the male counterparts. Feminist theory has become prominent in feminist thinking. The norms entrenched in society that has led to gender inequality. Post-independence feminists seek to accomplish this goal by rejecting essentialism, philosophy, and universal truths in favour of embracing the differences that exist amongst women. Post-Independence Feminism has resulted in some of the most groundbreaking research in the last twenty years. Postfeminist sensibility is a noncoherent set of ideas about femininity, embodiment, and empowerment circulating across various media. Ideas that inform women's sense of self, make postfeminist sensibility an important object for psychological study. Contemporary patterns of sense-making on gender, making a case for continuing research on postfeminist sensibility in the areas of digital cultures, a transformative imperative that includes the mind as well as the body, transnational postfeminism is imperative. Attempting suicide is a serious problem that requires mental health interventions. Factors that impact stress related to mental health include childhood adversities such as sexual/physical abuse, alcohol or drug abuse, and stressful life events. Death of a loved one, loss of a job or relationship, financial bankruptcy, impending criminal prosecution, and being diagnosed with, or recently diagnosed with, a terminal illness can also leave behind a deep scar on one’s mind. Essentially, people who attempt suicide require help in connection with high psychiatric or psychological morbidity. Philosophical dilemmas involving a person’s right to life and death have been debated, inconclusively, in many disciplines with different viewpoints and approaches. Many are ostracised by the societal doctrine of “being weak” and fear being either shamed or eliminated from participation in social activities. If we do not have preventive measures and ineffective highlights of reformative approaches in place, there is a risk of losing a human life. Estimates published by WHO indicate that globally about 1 in 3 (30%) of women worldwide have been subjected to either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or non-partner sexual violence in their lifetime. Most of this violence is intimate partner violence. Violence can negatively affect women’s physical, mental, sexual, and reproductive health, and may increase the risk of acquiring HIV in some settings. Violence against women is preventable. The health sector has an important role to play in providing comprehensive health care to women subjected to violence and as an entry point for referring women to other support services they may need. Women's empowerment is essential for achieving social justice. Women and girls are often subject to discrimination, violence, and other forms of oppression simply because of their gender. Empowering women helps to create a more just and equitable society for everyone. Empowering women is essential to the health and social development of families, communities and countries. When women are living safe, fulfilled and productive lives, they can reach their full potential contributing their skills to the workforce and raising happier and healthier children. Many women have reiterated and expressed before me, that a ‘woman’ is not an object of delight. ‘Woman’ is not a perfect notion of a ‘good wife’ in a man’s head. Besides, an emphasis or any of the other sexist ideas now somehow touted as progressive is not fair to be called ‘gender neutral’. Moreover, the ‘diversity inclusive causes’ that call female people ‘menstruators’ and ‘people with vulvas’ strike many women as dehumanising and demeaning. Those who’ve had degrading slurs spat at many by violent people, it’s not neutral, it’s hostile and alienating. My interest in women-related issues is pre-dated by a matter of a girl almost a year and a half ago, during which I followed the debate around the concept of gender neutrality closely. I’ve interacted with trans people, and read sundry books, blogs and articles by trans people, gender specialists, psychologists, safeguarding experts, social workers and doctors, and followed the discourse online and in traditional media. On one level, my interest in this issue has been professional, because I feel I can understand the emotions that many people bear in their mind latently of not being able to communicate freely. This is due to being judged harshly and eliminated and humiliated by many in society. All this is truly presented and set in the present day, and my contemporary female detective is of an age to be interested in, and affected by, when we lose a human life, but on another, it’s intensely personal, as I have seen the negative impact on many as social and economic impacts have increased the exposure of women to abusive partners and known risk factors while limiting their access to services. Situations of humanitarian crises and displacement may exacerbate existing violence, such as by intimate partners, as well as non-partner sexual violence, and may also lead to new forms of violence against women. All one can ask and wish is for similar empathy, similar understanding, to be extended to the many millions of women whose sole crime is wanting their concerns to be heard without receiving threats and abuse. People may not be judged harshly on any stress they are trying to cope with both mentally and physically. Life is long and there is so much to celebrate. Community norms that privilege or ascribe higher status to men and lower status to women; low levels of women’s access to paid employment; and low levels of gender equality (discriminatory laws, etc.) can all contribute to fatal outcomes like homicide or suicide. We should live a life that is useful to others. A person should give up his or her selfishness and live for others. One should have kindness, compassion and benevolence, not pride. If we live for others then even our death can become a good departure and if we can touch lives, there is nothing bigger than that. She talks about women who have passed through a period of frustration, depression, gloom, depression, pain, suffering, rootlessness, agony and torture. Her writings are a very strong expression of feminine sensibility. It is to be looked at as a celebration of the beauty and courage of being a woman. She is every woman expressing all that comes with the territory of being a woman the strong wants as a woman, the beauty of an assertive mind, the dependence on man for happiness, the concern with physical decay, the identity crisis, the unwilling acceptance of allotted roles and lamentations against the insensitive male-dominated society. There is an unparalleled example of feminine-cum- feminist sensibility. In her writings, one finds an expression of a strong understanding that women need to be listened to first and a woman is not objectified or treated as a toy to play with. Woman figures in her writings are not just like a skeletons of flesh and bones. Mayaa SH has not only portrayed the flux of mind and thoughts of a woman but also efficaciously projected the wages, dreams and desires of Indian Women. Mayaa SH's writings are equipped with the female experience of emotional shock of anything, the humiliation of desire less surrender in non-consensual intimacy and her deep concern over the rhetoric prevalence of male domination. Mayaa depicts the entire class of women in Indian society. She expresses it when she affirms: "I am the Voice of Every Woman in this Country who seeks to be Listened to with no Judgements and Prejudices". Mayaa SH is a feminist crusader who has understood the deep-seated roots that are set against the patriarchal forces imposing stereo roles on women Dress in saris, be a girl, a rebel against the male's inadequacy to provide a meaningful and fulfilling relationship nothing more alive than skins hung on hangers to be looked at. Mayaa SH has also asserted to show her concerns through her powerful writings on few against the dominating attitude of stereotypical men. Mayaa SH's writings also accentuate women's psyche of rebellion against male supremacy and ego when she identifies her assertion for freedom in the mind first or an unfulfilled longing. She has commented on love and lust in radical voices. Mayaa has remarked that sometimes a woman feels that mere ardour is a mere waste and there is a desire to free herself from this soul-killing vanquish. The power of self-belief is the recurrent theme of Mayaa SH's writings. An eternal quest for the power of the quintessential mind is the pivotal concern in the writings of this High Priestess of Determination in life. Her forte is not cerebral complexity, intellectual stamina, or philosophical musings but her emotionally rich poetry as well as profoundly deep feelings expressed in deep verses. Her achievement is her daring and unconventional portrayal of the emotion of women's emotions in its countless number of shades. Women are depicted in various roles like beloved, wife, sister, daughter, mother, mistress, grandmother and also labelled with tags in society. This picture of a woman's persona is very complex. In the critic's words, Mayaa SH has more to say about the pathos of a woman emerging from a passive role to the point of discovering and asserting her freedom and identity. Mayaa SH is primarily considered to be a poet of feminine longings. Her writings reflect her assertions as a sensitive woman who is moving into a male-dominated society to champion the cause of women. She has forcefully raised her voice against male tyrannies in her writings and emphasized mental health. According to a simple and broad definition, anyone who recognizes the existence of gender biases male domination and patriarchy, and takes some action against it is a feminist Mayaa SH's expression of feminism is at times explicit and implicit. She has been celebrated as a champion of women's causes. Her writings reveal a strong feminist streak in various forms. In her writings including poems the subordination and humiliation of women forms a prominent motif. She has portrayed the stark reality of the life of women. Mayaa SH has also asserted that at times no doubt, the victimization of women is evident but women don't even realize that she is a victim. It appears that there is a need to study in depth the psychology of a few men to humiliate women and wonder why women show a submissive reconciliation with female servitude. This is to realise that the feminine mystique has always been exploited by a man who treats her as a slave. There is contempt for all that marriages that entail the man, his activities, the act and the loss of identity of several women. There is no denying the fact that Mayaa SH has asserted against the masculine character of our civilization but she also shows her restlessness towards women's passive acceptance of subjugation as the appointed lot. Suppression as a legitimate form of self-control has long been recommended to women. The decision of a woman's emotions is evident that even if a woman is not happy as an individual first or as a woman she must pretend to be a happy person in the allocated roles given to her. Mayaa SH is not in favour of any love that anybody showers on her rather she asserts an emotional identity given to any woman which is not afforded by many. Mayaa SH has hammered hard at many gender stereotypes and articulates the intense desire of many women to escape from the clutches and attain freedom. Mayaa SH, in her writings, gives the first person account of women's encounters, and description of the private lives of women have thoroughly made the picture of suffering women complete. It would not be wrong to point out that whatever Mayaa SH has written is in tones exposing the raw moods of experiences of people. It is because of this she cannot be dubbed as unfeminine. Her writings concentrate on the journey of self-discovery and expressing the different layers of hypocrisy that get quoted in today's life and she has been studied by many for that by the high preachers of social morality. In a nutshell, the writings of Mayaa SH advocate freedom and self-respect for women. Mayaa SH has staunchly etched the emotional picture of women and succinctly reiterated that a woman should not be treated as a commodity or a subaltern. She should be bestowed with a respectable position in the society.

  • Mayaa SH | "I Only Bleed Crimson"

A versatile genius an essayist, a thinker, a podcaster, a columnist and an avid campaigner of social justice for women Mayaa SH has been a favourite with her readers and critics alike. Mayaa SH is known for her bold expression of writings on social behaviour and areas of concern that are otherwise labelled as taboo. Ideology: Mayaa SH is personified as the image of feminine sensibility in Indian Contemporary Literature. The nationally acclaimed authoress Mayaa SH is inextricably linked to Indian feminism ideology; in fact, hers is the most significant and fierce advocacy of Living by Theory of Vichaar which is linked to the power of self-belief in life and the courage to live a life of Optimism and Determination. It is seen that she made the most of her work to eloquently capture the deep-seated aspirations and goals of women folk. No matter what Mayaa SH writes, she has been bold in her narratives that have always aimed to depict some of the most contentious aspects of culture that relate to women and issues, especially the pressing challenges facing women. Understanding Mayaa SH's works requires her deep understanding of observations of the personal life narratives of many women across the globe, which is so intricately entwined with her work that one cannot be tackled without the assistance of the other. Mayaa SH is known for her fiery voice for women's rights and transparency in her writings. Her writings are characterised by frankness, clarity and openness. Mayaa SH's writings and ideology often provide an unfiltered glimpse into the inner world of countless women, delving into themes of self-belief, aspirations, identity, and the constraints of societal norms. She has shown that women's lives are not fundamentally different from men's lives. Mayaa SH is known as a developmental feminist authoress since almost all of her writings are bold narratives and assertions that deliver a powerful message of feminism in a personal tone. Mayaa SH holds the distinction of being the most celebrated and most anthologized of Indian English women poets. Mayaa SH is a legendary woman and an author who epitomizes the modernization of the Indian feminine writing psyche. She talks about women who have passed through a period of frustration, depression, gloom, pain, suffering, rootlessness, agony and torture. Her Writings emphasise a very strong expression of feminine sensibility. According to a simple and broad definition, anyone who recognizes the existence of sexism, male domination and patriarchy, and takes some action against it is a feminist Mayaa SH's expression of feminism is at times explicit and implicit. She has been celebrated as a champion of women's causes. Her writings reveal a strong feminist streak in various forms. In her poetry as well the subordination and humiliation of many women in silence depicts and forms a prominent motif. In one of her powerful works, "I Only Speak Titanium", she portrays the power of self-belief, determined by mind and aspirations related to the lives of countless women. Theory Of Slogan Of Living By "Vichaar": Mayaa thinks that the value of life has become almost zero considering the seriousness of words that spread hate crimes. We are in the 21st century, yet incidents happen in which girls and women are considered objects and used as a medium to fulfil the desires of some people and the next day they are nothing. Since ancient times, the objectification of women is deeply rooted in patriarchy. The underlying notion of deep understanding of life is that there are people who are being sold like commodities in the market to become slaves and brokers, and it is extremely worrying that those who find out the truth also become victims of this by getting exposed to abuse and threats. In this kind of discursive life, women have also been analyzed to be part of bundles of things that are paraded, bid on, sold and traded, even though women today are making huge contributions to the development of their country in various aspects, women are still being treated as a commodity. Even in many brothels, women are used as an objects to commodity multiple commercial needs. Their administrators trick buyers from rich families into buying young children or babies. Mayaa SH is driven by the passion to write and engage in closely related creations in life. Mayaa is a well-known name in contemporary literature, be it writing, debate or counselling. She has saved the lives of many women from suicide and through counselling free of cost has helped them understand the significance of their existence and the importance of self-confidence. She focuses her attention on allowing women to think for themselves, reinvent and rediscover their purpose in life and the goals attached to leading a holistic life. According to Mayaa the upliftment of women can be described as a marriage between action and theory. She has maintained that feminism is not a war between men and women. She said it is a fight between two ideologies. One that elevates men and gives them power, and the other, that advocates for equality. Conclusion: One of the most well-known contemporary Indian authors is Mayaa SH. She is also well known for her confessionalism. One of her writing's strongest subjects is feminism and mental health. Every work she has undertaken has addressed feminism in a female-oriented manner. Feminine writing differs from writing that is feminist. Feminism is not about breeding contempt but the writing by women in Indian English literature that focuses on women's identities and resistance also fosters a modern consciousness in both men and women. Mayaa SH's feminist writing conveys a general understanding of the power of the determined mind that asserts a voice against patriarchal rhetoric and male dominance as being superior through social constructs and the philosophy that underlies its importance rather than the textbook's literary quality. The study of the feminine emerges as a reaction to patriarchy or the prevalent chauvinist ideologies. Mayaa SH is an author who writes in the contemporary notions of times. It is not necessarily conventional or outdated; it is pertinent to include or make an appearance in the vast majority of her poetry as well that asserts a high degree of raw emotions. In addition, a summary of doubt, love, and gender engages that it is a well-known stance in her poetry as well as comes into view as one of its intervening themes. As a result, Mayaa SH is a modern Indian author who is fully aware of her artistic intent and purpose as well as of her obligation to uphold her vision. Unquestionably, a feminist voice is being heard through all references to her works as it expresses the aspirations and stifling conditions, worries, and frustrations of many women. She expressly writes about love, emotions, mental health and oppression, all topics that are familiar to her and fully within her consciousness of her vast observation in life. Her lyrical voice, which is generally her own and cannot be mistaken for anybody else's, is infused with a feminine and feminist sensibility. It is important to note that Mayaa SH's poetry has themes that centre on the history of the feminine senses. Writing on the oppressed and patriarchal norms in society is the voice of Mayaa SH. Her stance against women's exploitation and marginalization, as well as her concern for the social and cultural construction of gender, are virtually always evident in her works. She has shown that women's lives are not fundamentally different from men's lives. Mayaa SH is known as a fierce feminist authoress since almost all of her works deliver a powerful message of feminism in a personal tone. The best, and perhaps most fascinating aspect of Literature is that the writer’s intent is not immediately clear. We read literary works as standalone creations, divorced from their origins and creators. Any insight into the mind and creative process of a writer then feels like a rare privilege. The above gives us this singular opportunity into the Legacy and mindset of Mayaa SH and her ideology.
