- How to Get Hired After Getting Fired: My Story : Arunima Jha
Sometimes, no matter how hard you work, no matter how much you give to an organization, office politics will take over. And when that happens, you find yourself in a position where you are forced to resign—or worse, handed a termination letter for reasons that have nothing to do with your competence, your dedication, or your work ethic. I’ve been there. I have been in situations where I was asked to resign. When I didn’t, I was handed the termination letter instead. It’s a moment that makes you question everything—your abilities, your career, your future. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned from those moments, it’s this: You cannot be afraid of what comes next. The first time it happened, I won’t lie—I was shaken. But I didn’t let it break me. Instead, I took that very termination letter, walked into interviews at bigger organizations, and laid it all out. I told them exactly what led to it—not from a place of weakness, but from a place of strength. I told them how politics had overpowered performance, how insecurity had overshadowed merit, how decisions were made not based on capability but on convenience. And you know what? It worked. Because real leaders—the ones who truly build organizations—don’t see a termination letter as a red flag. They see resilience. They see courage. They see someone who refused to compromise their values just to fit into a toxic ecosystem. If you ever find yourself in this position—fired, discarded, made to feel small—remember this: You are not your termination letter. It is not your full stop; it’s just a comma before the next big thing. Use it. Own it. And most importantly, never be afraid of what’s next. Because the right people? They’ll see you for who you truly are. And they’ll hire you for it. follow me on Linkedin on this link : https://www.linkedin.com/in/jharunima/

- From Audience to TEDx Speaker: My Journey of Transformation : Sadhika Majeti
There are moments when a few words from someone can deeply impact you. One such moment happened to me when a member of the audience approached me after my TEDx talk and said, "Your speech resonated with me. I learned something valuable today. If someone had told me this before “Experience is the best teacher and Internship is the perfect classroom, I wouldn’t have left my recent job." Those words stayed with me, reinforcing why I chose to stand on that TEDx stage in the first place. Transforming My Dream Into Reality Becoming a TEDx speaker was a dream that had lived in my heart for a longtime. Yet, the road from aspiration to reality was neither simple nor fast. It required more than just the desire to speak, it took meticulous planning, immense dedication, and the courage to face my vulnerabilities. It all started by identifying the message I wanted to share about Attrition happening in the organizations and I believed that I could make a meaningful impact and bring the change. As an HR working in the attrition department understand the consequences of attrition in the coming future. I wanted to bring the change in this and work on it. The preparation was intense. I poured countless hours into the research and refining my speech, carefully crafting each sentence to ensure it was both impactful and true to my research. Rehearsals in front of trusted mentors and family helped me sharpen my delivery, but the hardest part was learning to connect with the audience in a way that was both authentic and inspiring. TEDx wasn't just about speaking; it was about creating a moment that resonated with others. The Power of a Supportive Network This journey was far from solitary. Along the way, I was fortunate to have a strong and supportive network that played a crucial role in my success. Mentors who offered invaluable guidance, and family who provided constant encouragement, they believed in me even when I doubted myself helped me stay grounded and motivated. Their belief in my potential, even during moments of uncertainty, made all the difference. It was through their support that I found the strength to keep pushing forward, knowing I wasn’t alone in this endeavour. The TEDx: A Platform for Growth Standing on the TEDx stage was a transformative experience. Delivering my TEDx talk was an experience like no other. It wasn’t just an opportunity to speak; it was an opportunity to grow, learn, and inspire. More than that, it taught me valuable lessons: 1. The Power of Words – The right words, when spoken from the heart, can inspire and influence people in ways we often underestimate. 2. The Importance of Clarity – A great idea is not enough; how you communicate it matters just as much. 3. The Confidence to Inspire – TEDx gave me the confidence to believe that my message mattered and that I had something meaningful to share with the world. The Impact of Being a TEDx Speaker Becoming a TEDx speaker brought immense personal and professional rewards. Here’s what I gained from the experience: Personal Growth: I grew as a speaker, learning to communicate my ideas with more clarity and passion. The experience boosted my confidence and taught me the importance of delivering messages that truly resonate with people. Global Reach: The TEDx platform offers the incredible opportunity to share my ideas with a global audience. Invaluable Connections: The TEDx community provided opportunities to connect with other inspiring individuals. Fellow speakers, event organizers, and attendees became part of my network, expanding my horizons and encouraging me to continue growing and evolving. From Audience to speaker My TEDx journey was not just about standing on a stage and delivering a speech. It was about evolving, growing, learning, and transforming from someone who once sat in the audience, admiring great speakers, to becoming one myself. It was a journey of self-discovery, perseverance, believing in myself great support from mentors and family, and willingness to share my message to bring change and to inspire someone. I realized that I had a message that mattered and wanted to share this globally and worked hard for it and transformed it into reality. "Every great speaker was once a listener with a dream. The courage to step forward, share, and inspire is what transforms ideas into reality. Keep believing, keep evolving, and let our voice be the change." - Binomial Expansion Simplified for Everyone: Research and Formulation by Uday Kumar
Introduction In early mathematics, students learn how to square and cube binomials like (a+b)(a+b) and (a−b)(a-b). This knowledge helps in calculations such as: 982=(100−2)2,9993=(1000−1)398^2 = (100 - 2)^2, \quad 999^3 = (1000 - 1)^3 However, when dealing with higher powers such as (95)5(95)^5 or (101)6(101)^6, repeated multiplication becomes tedious. To simplify these calculations, the Binomial Theorem was introduced. Traditionally, it involves permutations and combinations (nCr^nC_r), which are typically introduced in higher classes (Class 11 and above). But what if there was a simpler approach that anyone—from a fifth grader to a PhD student—could use without any knowledge of complex formulas? Here’s a step-by-step method that makes binomial expansion easy and intuitive . The Formula For any binomial (a+b)n(a+b)^n, the expansion follows this pattern: (a+b)n=anb0+nan−1b11+n(n−1)an−2b22+⋯+a0bn(a+b)^n = a^n b^0 + \frac{n a^{n-1} b^1}{1} + \frac{n(n-1) a^{n-2} b^2}{2} + \dots + a^0 b^n This structure allows easy calculation of binomial expansions without the need for combinations . Step-by-Step Process: Let's expand (a+b)2(a+b)^2 as an example: Start with the highest power of aa and the lowest power of bb: (a+b)2=a2b0(a+b)^2 = a^2 b^0 Since anything raised to the power of zero is 1 , we simplify: a2a^2 For the second term: Multiply the previous power of aa by the exponent nn (which is 2). Reduce the power of aa by 1. Increase the power of bb by 1. Divide by the number of preceding terms. 2a1b11=2ab\frac{2a^1 b^1}{1} = 2ab Continue this process until the power of aa becomes 0: (a+b)2=a2+2ab+2a0b22(a+b)^2 = a^2 + 2ab + \frac{2a^0 b^2}{2} =a2+2ab+b2= a^2 + 2ab + b^2 More Examples: Example: (a+b)3(a+b)^3 (a+b)3=a3b0+3a2b11+3×2a1b22+3×2×1a0b33(a+b)^3 = a^3 b^0 + \frac{3a^2 b^1}{1} + \frac{3 \times 2 a^1 b^2}{2} + \frac{3 \times 2 \times 1 a^0 b^3}{3}=a3+3a2b+3ab2+b3= a^3 + 3a^2 b + 3ab^2 + b^3 Example: (a+b)4(a+b)^4 (a+b)4=a4b0+4a3b11+4×3a2b22+4×3×2a1b33+4a0b44(a+b)^4 = a^4 b^0 + \frac{4a^3 b^1}{1} + \frac{4 \times 3 a^2 b^2}{2} + \frac{4 \times 3 \times 2 a^1 b^3}{3} + \frac{4a^0 b^4}{4}=a4+4a3b+6a2b2+4ab3+b4= a^4 + 4a^3 b + 6a^2 b^2 + 4ab^3 + b^4 Expanding Binomials with a Negative Term For (a−b)n(a-b)^n, replace bb with −b-b in the formula: (a−b)n=an+(−b)0+nan−1(−b)11+n(n−1)an−2(−b)22+⋯+a0(−b)n(a-b)^n = a^n + (-b)^0 + \frac{n a^{n-1} (-b)^1}{1} + \frac{n(n-1) a^{n-2} (-b)^2}{2} + \dots + a^0 (-b)^n This follows the same pattern, except alternate terms will change signs. Conclusion Mathematics is all about recognizing patterns . With this simple approach, anyone can expand binomials without relying on complex formulas involving permutations and combinations. So next time you see an expression like (102)5(102)^5 or (99)6(99)^6, you won’t need a calculator—you’ll just follow the pattern and simplify it step by step! Hence, we say, MATHS IS ALL ABOUT PATTERN!
